Hiking in Dakhla Oases Desert
Day 1
Transfer to the Cairo Airport to take
the flight to Kharga Oasis. Drive to
Dakhla Oasis. Check in at the Badawiya
Dakhla Hotel. Lunch, dinner and overnight.
Day 2
After breakfast drive to El Ain El Gharbeya to
meet the guide. Then walk for 3 hours. Lunch on the way.
You continue to Kosmond Mountain ( Naqab
Farafra and to Bir Gabal, dinner
and camping.
Day 3
After breakfast walk for 3 hours to Ganayen.
Lunch on the way. After lunch you walk for 2 more hours
to Naqb Bedkholo, dinner and camping.
Day 4
After breakfast walk for 3 hours to Bir Bedkhelo.
Lunch on the way. After lunch you walk for 2 more hours
to the Ain Santa Sand dunes, dinner and
camping.
Day 5
After breakfast, walk for 3 hours to Qalamoun
. Lunch on the way. After lunch will walk for
2 hours to Gedida Sand duns, dinner and
camping.
Day 6
After breakfast walk for 3 hours through the Gedida
Sand dunes. Lunch on the way. After lunch you
walk for 2 more hours to Deir El Hagar,
dinner and camping.
Day 7
After breakfast you meet the jeeps and drive to Farafra
Oasis. Lunch on the way. Then drive to the White
Desert, dinner and camping.
Day 8
After breakfast drive to Bir Regwa to
meet the minibus to drive back to Cairo City by
minibus. You will take a little break at the Crystal
Mountain and the Black Desert,
then you proceed and have lunch at a local restaurant
in Bahariya Oasis. Arrival in Cairo
City before sunset.
Minimum group size: 3 persons
We will need passport copies of the all group members.
The program can be done with jeep or camel company. We can arrange hotel bookings and transfer from/to the Airport
Kindly note that we tailor every program upon our clients' requests.
The trip has to start on a "Sunday or Tuesday to Kharga Oasis as per the flight schedule.
